Manuel Guillén, Spanish violinist born in Madrid, he trained at the Royal Superior Conservatory of Music in Madrid getting Awards Honor Thesis Violin and Chamber Music. Grant from several estates, including the Juan March Foundation Hispano – American, Ministry of Culture and Juilliard School of music, he moved to America to further his studies at the Universities of Madison (Wisconsin) with Vartan Manoogian and Juilliard School New York with Dorothy Delay and Masao Kawasaki.
Winner of numerous awards get among others, the Sarasate Prize, Second Prize in the National Music Performance Competition, First Prize medal in the National Violín Contest XXV Gyenes Isidro, soloists Competition Award from the University of Madison and Award for best instrumentalist chord area at the same university.
Important Spanish composers have written for the violinist, he has premiere more tan 60 works for solo violin and world premiere 11 violin concertos.

Addition to his activities as a performer makes a strong pedagogical work. He has been during 20 years occupying one of the chairs in violín at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid.
He is guest professor Bachelor of Music Performance, Master and Doctor in violín and chamber music at the faculty of music at the “Alfonso X el sabio” University Alfonso X (UAX). PhD at the UAX and currently occupying from september 2020 “Catedratic”violin professor at the Superior Conservatory in Zaragoza (Aragon), Spain.
